My name is Mrs. Hull and I am so happy that I get to work with your child this year as the Le Roi Daniel's Math Specialist/Lead. We are going to have a great year full of learning and problem solving. This will be my third year at Le Roi Daniels; however, it will be my 13th year teaching. I look forward to providing each student with a positive learning experience and help them develop a love for MATH. Working with children and watching them soar is what I love most about my job. I want to inspire all students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and risk takers. I believe that every child can be successful and confident at learning mathematics, learning to reflect on their own understanding and communicate how they got the answer(s). There are many ways for a child to represent their understanding (i.e. pictures, numbers or words) and I will encourage them to ask questions to further their understanding. Together we will have meaningful math discussions!
A little about me...
I grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario and have been in Calgary for 13 years now. Calgary is now my home where I live with my wonderful husband and two little boys. I love to travel with my family, finding new places to explore and learn about. Together, we love to camp, play games and swim. Staying active and spending time outdoors is something my family and I feel is very important.
